The Stage is Set in Bangkok
Garena has officially revealed the group stage draws and final team lineups for the upcoming Free Fire World Series (FFWS) 2026 Global Finals. This November, Bangkok will host the absolute best mobile battle royale players on Earth. Eighteen elite squads have clawed their way through regional qualifiers. Now, they know exactly who stands in their way.
With a cool million dollars on the line, the pressure is already mounting. The tournament features a mix of veteran giants and hungry underdogs, all divided into three highly competitive groups of six.
The Group Stage Breakdown
The draw ceremony, broadcast live to millions of fans, delivered some jaw-dropping matchups. Here is how the eighteen teams shake out for the opening phase:
Group A: A Clash of Styles
Group A is headlined by Brazilian powerhouses LOUD and Thailand’s home turf heroes, Team Falcons. Joining them are Indonesia’s RRQ Kazu, WASK from the MEA region, Stalwart Esports representing South Asia, and LATAM’s All Glory Gaming. This group is a fascinating tactical puzzle. LOUD is famous for aggressive, high-risk drops, while Team Falcons relies on cold, calculated rotations. It is a classic battle of instinct versus strategy.
Group B: The Group of Death
If you want drama, Group B is where you will find it. This is easily the most stacked group in the tournament. It features former world champions Magic Squad from Brazil, Thailand’s powerhouse Buriram United Esports, and Indonesian titans EVOS Divine. Rounding out the group are Vietnam’s EXP Esports, Brazilian legends Corinthians, and CGGG. Survival here will require flawless execution. One bad drop could ruin a team’s entire tournament run.
Group C: The Wild Cards
Group C offers a highly unpredictable mix. Fluxo leads the charge here, alongside POCO Star from Indonesia, Vietnam’s P Esports, Indostars, and Latin America’s Furious Gaming. Observers are calling this the most open group of the three. Without a single dominant favorite, expect chaotic matches and plenty of surprise upsets. Any of these six teams could realistically top the group on their day.

Rosters Locked and Loaded
Roster stability seems to be the theme of 2026. Most of the top-tier organizations opted to keep their core players together rather than making panic transfers after the regional splits.
All eyes are on Team Falcons’ star player, who spoke briefly after the draw. ‘We do not care about who is in our group,’ he said. ‘To be the best, you have to beat everyone anyway. We are playing at home, and the trophy stays in Thailand.’
Meanwhile, the Brazilian contingent is looking for redemption. After missing out on the top spot last year, teams like LOUD and Fluxo have spent months bootcamping. Analysts point out that Brazilian teams historically perform exceptionally well under high-pressure live crowds, which could give them an edge in Bangkok’s raucous arena.
How the Tournament Works
The road to the championship is a marathon, not a sprint. The tournament kicks off with the Group Stage, where teams will play across various classic maps, including Bermuda, Purgatory, and Kalahari. Points are awarded based on placement and kills, meaning passive play rarely pays off.
Only the top twelve teams across all groups will survive the initial cut. From there, they advance to the Points Rush stage—a crucial phase where teams fight for head-start points before the Grand Finals. The final twelve will then play a grueling one-day, multi-match format to crown the FFWS 2026 World Champion.
Action begins on November 12. Fans can catch every match live on Free Fire’s official YouTube, Twitch, and TikTok channels.
